Jay has been with Rottler since 1994. He started out as a technician, then grew into a Supervisor role for a few years before being promoted to Branch Manager in early 2000. Jay has been the Technical Director since 2007, and has been our go-to-guy for all things entomology.
Jay and his girlfriend Joy live in Alton, Illinois with their two dogs Deano (Jack Russel), and Sugar (Miniature Pinscher). Jay has two children, Evan (27), and Colin (20).
What did you want to be when you were younger?
I wanted to be a firefighter or a marine biologist.
What is your favorite trip and why?
I have two favorite trips. I went to Sydney Australia for the “Millennium” and Hawaii (cruise where we went around all the islands) – Maui was my favorite.

What’s a strange fact that most don’t know about you?
I am the founding President of the UPMTC, Inc group (Urban Pest Management Technical Committee) This is a group of Technical directors from across the country that get together monthly to share ideas and educate each other on industry information. We currently have 22 members in this group and visit various universities to present to entomology students.
