Attic Insulation

Attic insulation is the process of applying a thermally resistant barrier to the walls and attic of your home. The insulation material blocks heat from entering your home in the summer, and keeps heat in your home during the winter.

What are the benefits of attic insulation?

The most well-known benefit of attic insulation is lower heating costs, as the protective layer blankets your attic from drastic temperature changes. Attic insulation also serves to keep unwanted pests from entering your home. Because the insulation fills any holes where heat escapes, this blocks potential entry points for wildlife and rodents. The insulation material is poisonous to pests, which means that ants, termites, silverfish, and other pesky intruders are killed on contact or through ingestion. Our insulation materials are also proven to be highly effective in preventing mold and mildew germination, adding mold protection for your home.

How is attic insulation installed?

InCide® is a spray insulation added on top of the current insulation in your home. It adds an additional protective layer and fills any gaps where heat is still escaping. The application process creates a blanket of interlocking fibers, which decreases air movement and produces a buffer to resist heat transfer. This allows for a cool home in the summer, and a warm home in the winter.
