While human inspections can take 20 minutes to 1 hour, trained bed bug dogs can search the average hotel room in just 3 to 5 minutes. Our dogs were trained at two of the nation’s leading detection dog training facilities. For months, both dogs were given multiple items in succession to smell. When they came to the target odor (bed bugs in this case), they were rewarded with a treat.
Trained, certified bed bug dogs have the advantage when it comes to bed bug detection. Here at Rottler, our bed bug dogs:
Find live bed bugs with over 90% accuracy
Receive training similar to bomb and drug detection dogs
Save you time and money by quickly locating bed bugs
Are certified by the National Entomology Scent Detection Canine Association (NESDCA)
