St. Louis, MO, Dec. 8, 2016– Michael Rottler, president of Rottler Pest & Lawn Solutions, has been elected chair of Better Business Bureau’s (BBB) Board of Directors, effective Jan. 1, 2017.
Rottler succeeds Scott Mosby, chief executive of Mosby Building Arts. Mosby remains on the board as immediate past chair.
BBB board members elected Rottler and other officers Nov. 7 at BBB’s annual meeting. The others elected were:
Vice Chair— Kevin Deptula, president and chief executive of Builder’s Bloc Contracting.
Treasurer— Thomas Walsh, vice president and chief information officer at Drury Hotels.
Secretary— Will Smith, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Callers.
Director-at-Large—Scott Schaefer, senior vice president of Schaefer Autobody Centers.
Michelle L. Corey was re-elected president and CEO of the BBB.
“Nearly 100 years ago, BBB was founded on the principles of truth in advertising and protecting the consumer,” Rottler said. “Services like BBB Business Profiles and ratings, charity reviews, dispute resolution and Request A Quote service help build trust in the marketplace. Broader public awareness of these activities is key, and as the incoming chair, I will be proud to participate in this leadership role with BBB’s board.”
New board members elected to serve in 2017 are Dave Bengston, manager of agency development at Unigroup; Jason Courtney, president of Helitech; Jake Edinger, creative director at Rodgers Townsend; Tyler Kelley, CEO of SLAM! Agency; Dave Mungenast Jr., president, Mungenast Automotive Family; and Karen Nolte, executive director, Children’s Home Society of Missouri.
